I actually don't have a for-sure date yet (mostly because I can never exactly tell how long it will take me to write a book and the Doppelganger series has taken me longer than some), but I'm shooting for the end of 2014. I've got a general outline and a few chapters started (because who could stop writing just after that ending!).

Still, I'm actually going to have a few books out before Doppelganger 3. First, there will be a Funeral Crashing Box Set (books 1-3) out at the end of July. I'll post release dates soon. It's going to have a few extra scenes from Ethan's POV. I'll be doing the same for a Doppelganger Box Set once all three books are written FYI. Then in August I'm hoping to release a NA chicklit book that I'm currently calling Crashing Prom. It's something I started a few years ago as a 3 Day Novel and I am just developing it a little more and fleshing out the characters. It's similar in style (fun, romance, in your head talk) to the Funeral Crashing and Doppelganger novels, but there's no mystery or paranormal. It's just a story about a girl who always regretted not going to her senior prom...and it's a really fun book! After that I'm hoping to release Funeral Crashing 4 in the fall. I'm outlining it right now and working on the mystery. I already know what happens to Kait & Ethan in the 6 books I have planned (and there might be more if people keep reading them!) and there will be big things going on between them in book 4!!!! Doppelganger 3 will come out after that and it should be the last book in the series. There's so much to write, though, that I'm feeling a little worried...might it be two books more? If it's only one, it's going to be a long one! And as the final book, all will be revealed! Who are the doppelgangers? Who will Citrus choose? Will the doppelgangers take over? It's going to be an action packed, romance filled, suspenseful ending to the series! I'm hoping to write it in the early fall. Fingers crossed.

This is what I would do if I ran into my doppelganger! It would probably look something like the pictures below! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird! 

Okay, I have to say one thing first before I answer! When I was in college I actually almost ran into my doppelganger! It's true! My friends (yes, a few of them!) kept telling me that they thought they saw me around campus except I was nowhere near where they saw me at the time!!!!! Eeek! My doppelganger went to the same university as me!!!! Still, we never ran into each other. Well, at least we haven't run into each other yet!

So, what would I do if I came face to face with my doppelganger? Ummmmm....I'd probably freak out and wonder if my parents weren't telling me something! Or I'd run. Well, actually, I guess the logical part of me would start to take over and maybe I'd talk to the girl. Still, I'd be really freaked out. Nah. I'd run! Eeeeeeeek!

Citrus Leahy is on the run from doppelgangers! Now she and a group of teenagers whose lives have also been taken over have to figure out how to stay hidden. The doppelgangers could be anywhere or anyone. Her crush Aedan makes her feel safe except that he keeps reminding her of the guy she left behind...his doppelganger! Citrus also can't forget that the doppelgangers have her mother, but she has no idea how to save her when their group is barely saving themselves. It seems like the doppelgangers are always hot on their trail and there's danger around every corner, maybe even from within.

Doppelganger 2 Update

Lol. My newborn twins dancing the night away! Aka keeping me up all night. (Thanks to Brett Gilbert for the photo)

It's been a crazy year! I am now a mom to two doppelgangers! Okay, okay, identical twins. (We all know they're really doppelgangers though!)

That being said...when is Doppelganger 2 coming out? SOON! I'm working on the rewrite. I'm majorly reworking the beginning of the book to make it more exciting/suspenseful/awesome! Look for it in January 2013!

In the meantime a sneak peak at the first paragraph of the book:

I was sleeping next to Aedan Finnigan and it should have been a dream come true. It would have been if my life was normal. Too bad my life was never going to be normal again. I could just barely make out Aedan's features in the darkness. It didn't matter, though. I had his features memorized. First there was his red hair, which brought out his intense green eyes and those made the way his lips curved when he smiled all the more sexy.  His lips. Now I was thinking about kissing him and that brought me back to reality. I had never kissed Aedan Finnigan, but I had kissed his doppelganger.

And now... START GETTING EXCITED ABOUT BOOK 2!!!!!

Doppelganger is NOW Available as a PAPERBACK Book!

Great news for all of you who don't have ereaders or just like physical books! My YA Scifi Romance/Paranormal Romance Doppelganger is now available for purchase as a paperback book!

What's it like? Well, it's in the vein of Stephanie Meyer's The Host, although it also has a Meg Cabot-like wit, sort of like The Mediator Books. That's how I'd describe it at least. Movie-wise, think The Faculty or Disturbing Behavior or even a chick-lit version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. 

Check Doppelganger out on Amazon! It's also available on Barnes & Noble, Createspace, and other retailers! Just search my name and the book title to find it!
